More on the Pot-in-Pot Refrigerator

The Rojases at Green Power Science, in Florida, give us more info on the pot-in-pot refrigerator. They highlight the need to be aware of your surrounding humidity levels. How to Make Biochar

Biochar is charcoal created from natural materials in a low/no oxygen environment (also called “carbon black”). It is apparently a great way of renewing the soil and increasing your crop yields.

Here, John Rogers, who has a 2-acre farm in Florida, talks biochar and shows us how he makes it.

Medicinal Trees

When most of us think of medicinals we think of herbaceous herbs, but Dave shows us how we can effectively use the trees all around us (even in cities) as herbs.

This is a really informative series of videos by Dave Canterbury of the Pathfinders Wilderness School in Ohio. Dave seems like a great teacher.

These videos are focused on trees of the “Eastern Woodlands” but luckily many of these trees grow widely across North America.
